Talk about a medal winning team–Kure-It has received over $20,500 from SpareFoot during the past year. The monetary winnings from three different medal placements in Startup Games that SpareFoot received went straight to Kure-It. Giving back & having fun are two things that the storage industry is good at and SpareFoot exemplifies both with their generous donations to Kure-It and their success in the Startup Games.

Last January SpareFoot started their medal winning tradition by receiving a bronze medal at the 2012 Winter Startup Games. The $500 received from that win was just the start of the donations that SpareFoot would be sending Kure-It’s way. In June, SpareFoot took silver and was able to send $5,000 over to the charity. Rounding out their medal count by receiving a gold medal at this most recent installment of the biannual games, SpareFoot was able to send $15,000 to Kure-It Cancer Research.
According to their website, Kure-It’s mission is to raise money for cancer research specialists conducting innovative projects to better treat and ultimately cure kidney and other orphan cancers. The money raised through Kure-It will directly support researchers who are committed to finding long-term treatments, and ultimately a cure for cancer.
SpareFoot is a tenant referral service that connects storage facilities with customers in an efficient fashion by providing accurate prices and a book-online feature.
SpareFoot also gave $2,500 in sponsorship money for the first ever Storage Olympics at the CSSA Annual Conference in October 2012
