Reservation Center Specialist

Job Location:  Omaha, NE

This position will be responsible for following up on inbound storage inquiries nationwide using both phone and email. Primary responsibility is to contact customers with available unit sizes, prices, specials, and facility information with the goal of taking a reservation over the phone. All leads are inbound inquiries with a strong interest in renting storage and are easily turned into reservations with proper follow-up. Position will be expected to keep detailed records of follow-up history.

• Strong attention to detail – some data entry involved, information must be accurate
• Sales or customer service experience - either in person or phone sales
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Ability to learn processes quickly
• Aptitude for computers and Internet
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus, but not required

We are looking for an energetic, aggressive, person with 3+ years of .NET programming experience in a web production environment. QUALIFICATIONS

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of .NET web application development experience required
• 2+ years SQL Server experience required
• 2+ years experience in a Web Production or similar environment
• Experience with website analytics tools and search engine optimization strategies

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Strong expertise with ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML/XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Web Services, and IIS
• Advanced knowledge of database management and creation. SQL Server 2005
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash a plus.
• Ability to hand-code, analyze, de-bug, and deliver clean, validated, maintainable code.
• Strong background in web design, understanding of user-centric practices, and willingness to keep up with the latest in Internet technologies.

What will you be doing:

• Maintaining existing website code and upgrading/debugging when necessary.
• Maintaining existing databases and modifying when necessary.
• Creating new databases when necessary.
• Querying databases to pull necessary management reports.
• Working with designers to implement new website functionality and features and upgrade current website functionality and features.
• Giving input on project parameters, timeline, workflow, etc.
• Implementing projects according to project timelines and scope.
• Training key employees on usage of new website features when necessary.
• Attend regular team and management meetings to give input on new project ideas and current project status.
• Work with management, analytics programs, and analytics team to pull necessary website usage data and trends.
• Work with management and SEO team to implement in-house and external SEO strategies.
• Consider website usage trends and overall business strategies to suggest and implement new projects.
• Monitoring website uptime and dealing with outage issues when required, 24/7 support when necessary.
