The Frank Lloyd Wright house in Arcadia, thought to finally have an owner, is back on the market. Frank Lloyd Wright is behind some of the most famous architectural structures in the world, including this home located just outside of Phoenix. A developer bought it with intention of demolishing the infamous structure, to build two new homes on its 2.2 acres. When the developer bought it, he wasn’t aware of its significance and decided that he would keep the home as long as he could resell it in before the 60 day deadline was up. There was a purchase agreement in place that fell through on Monday and now Broker Robert Joffe said that he’ll put the 2.4 million dollar home on the market again, and call in more potential buyers. Frank Lloyd Wright originally built the Arcadia home for his son in the 1950s, and it is said this is the structure that inspired the Guggenheim.
During Sunday’s AdvoCare 500 at the Phoenix International Raceway, Kevin Harvick broke a 44-race winless streak by winning the Sprint Cup Series race. Even though there were smiles and little tension after the race, the question still remains whether the relationship between Harvick and car owner, Richard Childress, will show any strain due to Harvick’s pending departure to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014. Harvick replaced Dale Earnhardt after he was killed in the Daytona 500 in 2001. There was massive tension between Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer, after a brawl ensued between crew members of both teams on pit road. After Gordon’s tire went out while battling Bowyer for position, he hit the wall and came back later to intentionally wreck Bowyer, taking them both out of the race. "For (Gordon) to act like that, I barely touched him, and then he tried to get into turn three and turn me, but he missed," Bowyer said. "Next thing I know I'm being told on the radio that he's waiting on me. It's pretty embarrassing for a four-time champion and what I consider as one of the best this sport has ever seen to act like that. It was completely ridiculous." NASCAR will further their investigation later this week before deciding to issue any penalties.
