A few surprises once I got there...
Go there before preparing to move in to get actual costs! I was quoted $49. a month for 10x20 outdoor space for my small travel trailer. Once I got there, I was told that was the price for the "back row" and front row was $69. A month. The back row is VERY tight against a fence with very limited access and can only accomodate small cars. The lot has very large loose gravel (not paved) and spaces aren't marked so people park a bit haphazardly. So I had to pay more than quoted price. Then I asked about senior citizen discount (website says 10% off) and was told "they changed that. It's for first month only" and since I was getting the "rest of the month free move in special" it wasn't usable. I still moved my trailer in because I had already made arrangements to get it there, but felt a bit deceived and bait and switched. By the time they added tax, it was a lot more than I expected, but now I know EXACTLY what the cost is, and looks like, to compare it with other lots....
