About this facility

Scotch Plains Public Storage, located on the east side of Highway 22 between Park Avenue and Terrill Road, offers cheap self storage options to the local community. Just south of Interstate 78, this facility features indoor storage units with interior hallway access, as well as outdoor drive-up units. Most are climate controlled storage. A 5x5 unit is a great place to store a small load of boxes or recreational gear, like hiking shoes, backpacks and binoculars for a day on the trails at Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. For those teeing it up at Scotch Hills Municipal Golf Course, a 10x10 unit can easily fit multiple sets of clubs and keep them from cluttering up the garage all year-round. There is a store on site offering moving and packing supplies from boxes to rope and tape. Families in Scotch Plains, as well as neighboring Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Plainfield, New Providence, Long Hill and Warren, can take comfort that all their belongings will easily fit in a 10x30 unit during a move or remodel. And hey, after a long day of loading and unloading, blow off some steam just up the road at Bowcraft Amusement Park! With easy access from Phillipsburg-Newark Expressway, Route 22 or Route 28, it's a convenient location for customers throughout the west side of Union County. Open 7 days a week, Public Storage takes great pride in serving the self storage needs of the Scotch Hill community.

Average concern with anything was displayed. Not to impressed. Got the job done. Took a while need another person took longer than necessary because people kept walking in to pay or but items.

The main area floor could look better

The main area floor could look better; it looks dirty; the elevators have silver panels missing which makes the elevators not appear clean; the temp could be a little cooler in the storage areas; the storage part is good so far

Easy to do business with

Joe was friendly, professional and accomodating. First unit shown needed to be swept clean. Second unit was just right. I trust my things will be safe in storage here.
