About this facility

Public Storage in Kerns – at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard – provides easy self storage access for folks heading in and out of the downtown Portland area on a regular basis. Interstate 5, Interstate 84 and Highway 99E offer quick routes to this facility, open 7 days a week. Heading across I-84 to do some major shopping at the Lloyd Center mall? Clear out some much-needed space in the closet first by storing out-of-season clothes, bulky coats or that boot collection in a handy 5x5 storage unit. Restaurants and local businesses along 28th Avenue can use a 10x10 storage unit to keep things clutter-free around the workplace, whether it's packing away extra tables and chairs or office equipment and supplies. Families near Da Vinci Middle School or Central Catholic High School will love the large storage space inside a 10x20 storage unit when the time comes to pack up just about everything inside a single-family home ahead of a major move or remodel. Indoor storage units, outdoor storage units, climate controlled storage units and individual storage lockers give customers plenty of options when it comes to cheap storage units at this location. Right across the Willamette River from downtown Portland, this facility is just minutes from some of the area's most popular attractions, including the Oregon Convention Center, the Lan Su Chinese Garden and the world-famous Voodoo Doughnut shop. Swing by and check out the incredible selection of storage solutions designed to make life a bit more organized for Portland customers.

Rating of Public Storage

Property Manager did a great job. Very knowledgeable. I reserved the unit on line and was promised a Labor Day special price to be locked in. But when I got to the facility I was told that my monthly cost would double because I had already rented from Public Storage in another state. Raw deal. Can't understand why a returning customer can't take advantage of a Labor Special price????

You increased my rent 22% in six month & almost 50% in less than a year. Who can be happy with that?

Really good experience. Signing up was quick/easy. Cynthia was very helpful. Super convenient location if you live in inner SE Portland (Hosford-Abernethy/Buckman/Kerns/etc.)
